“Battle of Flavours” – together for children and young people

On 11 October 2026, the charity cooking contest “Bitwa na Smaki” (Battle of Flavours), organised by our friends from Rotary Białystok, took place in the Sports Hall of the University of Białystok. The culinary competition had a shared goal: raising funds for psychological support for children and young people from Podlasie and their families.

Rotary Klub Warszawa City was represented by four people: Club President Hung Tran Trong, Past District Governor of District 2231 Andrzej Ludek, and club members Mariusz Bak and Sergiy Sukhoboychenko.

Hung Tran Trong and Andrzej Ludek sat on the jury, judging the skills of the young cooks. Andrzej Ludek also prepared a soup from his own recipe, published in his book “Świat zup André” (André’s World of Soups), which he presented to the winners of the first three places. Hung Tran Trong also provided gifts for the contestants.

We are very glad that we could take part in this special event and be part of such a noble initiative. Warm congratulations to our friends from Rotary Club Białystok on a wonderful idea, excellent organisation and their commitment to helping those in need.
